Getting a higher, safe yield the natural way
By R.Krishna Kumar
KOLLEGAL (CHAMARAJANAGAR DT.), APRIL 23. A silent revolution in the field of agriculture without the use of established methods of cultivation has attracted the attention of scores of farmers.
While farmers in nearby areas are in direstraits, having borrowed heavily to raise crops, the natural farming adopted by Mr.M.K. Kailash Murthy of Doddinduvadi village, 10 km, from Kollegal, provides an example of how the yield could be improved without any investment. This could also be the farmers answer to fight back the challenges posed by the World Trade Organisation (WTO) regime.
